The best guided tour EVER! Our tour guide was Victor, and besides his vast knowledge on all things Acropolis and Greek history in general, he also has a great sense of humor and truly understands his work.

We visited in June and had an incredible experience at the Acropolis and Museum. The weather was perfect, the crowds were manageable and obviously the site was awe-inspiring. Our guide Elizabeth was fantastic. She is an archeologist with a special interest in architecture. Her knowledge of the Acropolis and history enhanced the tour. She loved questions...and we asked tons. She was able to engage both the teens and my elderly parents. She stealthily guided us to the top of the Acropolis which my 80 year old parents did not think they could do! She was the BEST. Thanks!

Our guide was charming - without her we wouldn't understand even a quarter of what our eyes see. The excavation area under the museum also adds a lot and really takes you back 2000 years to see and feel the period and what was there. The archaeological findings are simply amazing. Especially in a cluster of archaeological and historical sites like this, I really recommend others take a guided tour - it's simply a different experience that's much better than traveling alone without guidance.

It was an amazing experience. The tour guide was so knowledgeable and very patient. The views are spectacular and the museum is beautiful. All in all well worth the money and a must do experience. Thank you me and my daughter had a fabulous day

The highlight of my visit was our fantastic guide Michaelis! He was captivating; highly professional and enthusiastic , sympathetic,knowledgeable and very entertaining. We have learned so much and could not get enough! A must for firsttimers on the Akropolis....

An amazing guided tour of the Acropolis and Museum. Guide was fantastic- knowledgeable and enthusiastic. It was hot and very crowded, but our guide worked hard to get us to shady spots to hear the stories she had to tell. Awesome.

The iconic location itself , combined with the clear blue sky and Attica view made the day memorable. The museum was lovely. The crowds, heat and sometimes lacklustre commentary means I would not repeat the the experience.

Our guide was knowledgable, engaging, and able to convey information well. She was even kind enough to recommend a place to eat in the Plaka that had great views and fantastic food. I felt that the high point was to see how things have changed since 1978. The Acropolis is easier to walk around as so much has been reconstructed or moved. The museum allows patrons to see finds and to appreciate the way the Parthenon was constructed.

It was an awesome experience!!! And all thanks to our tour guide,John The Archeologist! He was so engaging,enthusiastic and so passionate in sharing his knowledge towards us! I can really tell that he really loves his job!

The guided tour was very well organized. Our guide Elisavet was very knowledgeable and very friendly and helpful. We have learned so much in the few hours tour of the Acropolis and the Museum. We are highly recommending the guided tour. She knew exactely where to stop and always did a headcount to make sure everyone was there. Amazing experience!

We loved seeing the acropolis and exploring it. Our guide Maria was absolutely wonderful. It was a super hot day and she kept her passion going

Our guide Alexia made the experience enjoyable. While she couldn't eliminate the heat or the climb, she mitigated these challenges by stopping frequently and in shady areas. She was very knowledgeable about the Acropolis and excavating techniques because she is a trained archeologist. The audio equipment worked very well and I heard everything despite us being in crowded places. I would highly recommend.

It was amazing after many years of wanting to visit it was everything and more the guide was very knowledgable and it would not have been the same without him

Our guide made this the best visit to the Acropolis that I have experienced. She was clear and extremely informative. She was careful to stop in the shade whenever possible.

This was not really the vendor or Headout at fault, but I wanted to give further instructions to others so that they do not miss their tour like we did. DO NOT USE APPLE MAPS to find the ADDRESS given for the meeting spot. It lead us to the wrong part of town. Instead, USE GPS to find ATHENS WALKS. This will take you to the meeting spot, which turned out to be near Acropolis and near our hotel. Good luck- better luck.

Not very informative tour... just showing us what each monument is... no history or storytelling and guide wasn't great at answering questions

The tour was amazing. Our guide, John the archaeologist was fabulous. He gave the right amount of detail and was so knowledgeable about the artifacts in the museum as well as the acropolis. He kept us moving, but made sure that we had time to see every important aspect. We could have never seen so much or grasp all the history and facts on our own. Ask for John, and you will for sure have a great tour. We sure did.

Our guide was excellent. To tour the Acropolis museum and the Parthenon without a competent guide would be impossible to accomplish in 3.5 hours - if one hopes to really understand the chronological history. While it is physically challenging, it was extremely educational and fulfilling.

The tour timing was not accurately depicted. We were late for a tour we booked after that one because the tour guide moved very slowly, took breaks, and it did not begin at 9am as expected.

Keep the group together and do not start telling the story of an object before the whole group is in front of it. It is a lot of visitors and crowded so it is difficult for everyone to be close to the guide all the time.

John "The Archeogist" did a great job !!! He hás much knowledge about Greek -me Acrópoles History !!! I was a very rich experience !!!

There is no point trying to desribe the sheer glory of the Parthenon and the Acropolis Museum (which is fantastic!) in mere words. Understanding this period of ancient Greece through sculpture and town planning is essential for understanding Europe, even today.
